Clipper

I'm SO behind.

Our last month before leaving Pittsburgh was so crazy and fun.  We did a lot of 'burgh things including eating at our fav restaurants, spending late nights with friends, and biking along the river.  We wanted to do something fun with all our close friends and planned a big night out WITHOUT KIDS (except those with little babies)!  We all reserved a night out on the Clipper.  It is a dinner cruise on the river.  To say it was amazing would be an understatement.  I stopped for a moment and just looked at these people.  The people who have become our family for the past 4 years.  People who understood exactly how I felt to have their husband leave at 6:00am and not get home until after our kids were in bed, only to come home to study.  Life long friends
We had such a great time.  Being able to chat without having to chase kids.  It was really nice.  A very rare occasion to be able to go out on such a fun date

Love and miss these people already

1

Beckham turned one (over a month ago).  I can hardly believe how time is flying.  Beckham is a little spit fire.  In a lot of ways he is more laid back than Hayden, but if he has an idea something, he is going to be determined to get it!  We just love him to pieces.  He is so sweet and ultra cuddly.
One year old Stats

Height: 29 1/2 in 50%
Weight: 20lbs 13 oz 40%
Head: 18 1/4 in 50%
Just a little guy.  He isn't walking yet but can crawl super fast.  He has 7 teeth.  He loves all food.  He isn't picky and will eat anything I give him.  He loves his brother.  He throws the best tantrums I've ever seen a one year old throw (heaven help me).  He loves to dance to music.  His blue eyes and blonde hair attract everyone to him wherever we go.  He is very friendly, but more cautious than his brother has ever been.  We just love him to pieces.

Beckham has had a rough first year.  8+ ear infections and sickness of some kind every month of his little life.  I finally got him in to see an ENT and it was decided that he needed tubes.  I was really anxious about this because they had to put him under to perform the surgery.  But we did it, and I'm SO glad that we did.  He's been so much happier, is sleeping better than ever, and hasn't been sick at all since.  I'm hoping that he really feels a lot better too.  It kills me to think of all the pain he suffered in that first year.  Here is to a healthier second year.

Enjoying the Moments

It's been said before, I really really loved our house.  We had such a great backyard and have had some really nice days here and decided to take advantage of the little "backyard time" before we moved out

 Look mom!
 haha opps
oh how I love this little face
 mmmmmmmm
Once with a realtor, our house sold in 3 days
The last picture before we moved
It's official.  We moved.  I was able to go over to the house on the day of closing and clean for 2 1/2 hours.  The house was empty.  Seeing it that way reminded me of all the reasons that we feel in love with house when we first walked through it.  I brought some Cold Play, blasted it through my house, cried and cleaned.  This house is where I was able to bring my 2 babies home.  This is the house that Brett and I lived the longest since we've been married.  This house has so much charm and character and always gave us such a sense of being "home".  Great memories were made here.  This is a time of our life that we will never forget.

We moved just minutes away into a rental house for the last 2 months.  It's fine, but not home.  The next few weeks are going to be life changing.  We should find out any time now where we will be moving.  We are anxious, nervous, excited and extremely prayerful that wherever we end up will be right.  It's a very strange thought to think that we will finally be out of the "school" phase of our lives.  I couldn't be more proud of Brett.  He works so hard.  Always.  Comes home, only to take the boys off my hands so that I can work..He never complains.  Sure love my Brett.
Hayden gave his first Valentine.  He loves her.  She loves him.  He was so excited all day to go to her house.  It was the most adorable thing.  This women will forever be a part of our life (like it or not Charla) I couldn't love her more

I did a bath post recently but these cuties were SO CUTE today that I had to grab my camera again!
I NEVER want to forget that this is how Hayden shows me how old he is....I didn't teach him this, it's just how he does it :)
 There are no words
 Those eyelashes
He is almost too pretty to be a boy :)
This picture is classic.  Just like their daddy, anytime they are concentrating their tongue is out :)

9 months old

Our little Beckham is 9 months old.  It's CRAZY!!  This little man is the sweetest, happiest baby.  He can do no wrong in my eyes.  Just look at this face.
9 month stats
Weight: 19lbs 10oz 50%
Height: 29 1/4" 75%
Head: 17 3/4 50%
Tall and skinny! (Hayden was 2 1/2 lbs bigger than him at 9 months.  Crazy how they differ)
Beckham is crawling and loves to be able to get around and keep up with Hayden.  He is such a mama's boy.  Ohhhh does he love his mama :)  No one can make him laugh the way that Hayden can.  He loves to give kisses and can say mama, dada and baba.  We couldn't love him more.

Lets not forget big brother.  Hayden was cracking me up while eating lunch after church today that I had to grab my camera :)
Pretty sure we have the most handsome boys around.  They keep me busy and on my feet but I feel so blessed.
