So there were soooo many pictures to choose from but it would take me all day so I just chose a few! Going home was so great! It was so super busy though! I was lucky enough to be able to go back to my old salon and work for a few days! It was so much fun to see some of my old clients and to see my girlfriends from work again! That was just the start to the craziness! We had the opportunity to go to the temple with Chelsea which was so neat! I miss having a temple so close by. We spent Christmas Eve with Bretts family having the traditional fondue dinner, acting out the nativity scene from the bible and then the gift exchange! Kathy and Dee always spoil us rotten! It was a great Christmas Eve! We went to my parents for Christmas Day and had a big yummy dinner. My dad always prepares a spiritual story or thought to help us remember the true meaning of Christmas! He always tells us about the 3 stages of Christmas with Santa being the first, baby Jesus being the second and then he ends with the Adult Christ. I'm so grateful for my Savior and love the Christmas season and the reminder it gives us of his birth and life. For the past few years my dad has been working on putting together a book of his personal history! That is what they gave us for Christmas! It is a priceless gift that I will always treasure. It has pictures from his childhood and of my parents when they were first married that I had never seen before! My dad has lived such a great life and is an amazing example to my and my family! I appreciate you so much dad. Thank you for all you do for us.

After Christmas things just got crazier. I got to spend a brief moment with Jenny and Ashley which is always a treat! I miss them so much and couldn't ask for better friends! Brett and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary on Dec 30. I love Brett for so many reasons that I could go on and on but to name a few... for being such a wonderful husband and father! I love that he loves to learn. He has worked so hard in school to get us to this point and continues to do well. For being handy! He saves us so much money I swear :) For his love for our Savior and his strength in the gospel...and the list goes on and on. I love you Brett

New Years Eve was so much fun with my family! We all came to Trents and had tons of yummy food and played games and then counted down the new year! I really miss my family so it was fun to spend so much time together.

Hayden was blessed while we were home! Such an emotional experience for me. He was really fussy that morning and I was worried that he would cry through the blessing...he cried right up until Brett took him up to bless him, and was dead silent until brett said amen. The spirit was so strong and Brett gave him the sweetest blessing.

I had 3 different girls nights with my sisters and friends. Hanging out with other friends, seeing family, going to Wyoming to visit my Grandparents, visiting our old ward in West Jordan, snowshoeing, working, Christmas, shopping, and much much more, it didn't leave us much time to rest! We had an amazing time at home but needless to say we were anxious to come back to Pittsburgh to relax once again. Thank you for making our stay so great! We love and miss you all!
