A "TADA" moment for me!

As you all know I have a new love :) It's called SEWING!! Wow, if a year ago someone would have told me that moving to Pittsburgh would have made me all "Domesticated" (yes i'm aware that is probably not a word) I would have laughed really hard! It's so much fun though! We have all sorts of groups (really just an excuse to get out of the house and have girls nights) where we get together :) Sewing is my FAVORITE! Secretly I think it brings a tear to my moms eye to know that I love to sew! She ALWAYS tried to get to sew when I was younger....but um ya right...sewing was "sooo uncool" or so I thought! We make the coolest stuff! So a few of us made this really cute bag by Amy Butler! It was a long night but here are the finished projects!

It was after midnight but we were determined to get them finished!
(Cell phone quality sorry)

If you click on this pic you can get a closer look
at the bag!

The inside even has 3 pockets!

Anyway as most of you know I started a little online biz selling Baby wipes cases and burpclothes! WELL :) I have quite a bit of material left over from this bag that I'm going to make into Wipes cases and sell them for a steal and won't charge shipping! So check it out soon!

I love that Amy Butler bag! She has tons of patterns. Hannah has the pattern for the messenger bag and I want to steal in from her so I can make it.

WOW! I am totally impressed! That looks SO good! I totally failed sewing in Jr. High. Gave up on it then, well until a few years ago. If Ms. Terry could have had a little more patience (and I would have been a little less boy crazy) I am SURE I would have gotten it!

However, now that I don't have Ms. Terry to roll her eyes at me and I already landed the best man EVER, I can focus and I LOVE it too! :)
