18 months!

So I'm a little behind! Hayden turned 18 months at the beginning of April. My how time is flying. This is such a fun age and I'm loving it more and more. Hayden is really active and very very busy. He is ALL BOY! He loves the dirt, and cars and trains. The other day Brett and I went back and looked at old posts on our blog at all of the different stages that Hayden has gone through. I can't believe that 18 months have already come and gone. He is talking like crazy and showing more and more personality everyday.

I took him to his 18 month check up and he did so great. The doctor is always so amazed how calm he sits while she hears his heart, checks his ears and throat. He just looks at her while she does it with the famous "Hayden grin" every time. It's so funny! I always dread when he has to get shots even though he does pretty well with it.. This time he didn't even cry AT ALL! Yep 2 shots and not 1 tear. He's a tough kid. And after the nurse was done he wanted her to hold him. He laid on h shoulder and patted her back. He's such a funny boy!

So I got a really nice camera for Christmas and have been trying ever since to really get the hang of things. I have so much to learn and never intend on trying to be "professional" with it but just want to be able to take great pictures of my family. I have so much respect for photographers. It is so much harder than it looks. My friend Libby has been so great and spent a lot of time helping me learn. She's amazing check her out!
