37 weeks

I'm on cloud 9.  I haven't felt  this good in MONTHS.  I have belly ached over and over about how lousy I feel and am so glad to feeling great today.  Today I'm officially 37 weeks.  3 weeks and counting people.  I am hoping to be induced on the 15th (3 days early).  I would prefer to go into labor on my own, but because Brett is going to Jamaica on April 30th I want to be home from the hospital as long as I can before he leaves.  I'm really excited for this opportunity for Brett and am glad (despite the lame timing of the trip) that he is going.  (It's a dental mission trip for those of you who didn't know.  He'll be in the middle of a jungle doing crazy amounts of dentistry.  Such a cool opportunity)  I'm getting so excited to see our little guy.  Hayden has been a dream lately.  He is so sweet and has been so good, I'm just hoping that this baby doesn't turn him into a monster :)  

Thursday night I bent over to get something and when I stood up I felt (what I thought) the baby drop.  It was a weird feeling.  I didn't think that much of it and assumed that probably wasn't it because Hayden never really dropped until I was in labor.  I had my doctor apt the next day and sure enough, this little guy has dropped quite a bit :)  I think that is maybe why I'm feeling a little better? Who knows.  

I have gained 2 more lbs than I did with Hayden but am still pretty happy about my weight gain.  Heaven knows I don't like to work out so hopefully it won't be too hard to get back to where I was.  The doctor said that I'm measuring a little small HA! I told her to measure again because my belly is pretty dang big.  My first thought was that could mean a smaller baby, but my friend assured me that the doctor told her the same thing and her baby was 9lbs 6 oz. YOWZERS I sure hope not.

 I wasn't lying.  That is one big belly :)

Anyway I hope to continue to feel good for the next few weeks as we anxiously await this sweet little boy to come.  We couldn't be more excited.
