I've been looking forward to this all month. Brett had some time yesterday morning so we got the kids all dressed up and headed off to the mall. To make a long story short the wait was a joke. We got there 30 minutes after the line opened and they had already cut it off so that Santa could "feed the reindeer". So we did what good parent would do, we ducked under the "cut off rope" and got in line..ooooo we are sneaky. There were about 20 people in line ahead of us and the line took an hour and a half. It was A JOKE. BUT we were indeed able to see Santa. Hayden was SO excited and couldn't wait to tell him about the "big big tractor" that he wants. It was our turn and Hayden ran right over and climbed up on his lap..Brett held Beckham until we were right ready to take pictures just in case he wasn't so fond of Santa. Beck did great....just more stunned than anything :)

Hayden was all business. He wanted to make sure that Santa knew he really wanted that "big big tractor" and that he has been a really good boy.
I couldn't be more excited for Christmas morning this year. I know that it will feel so magical. We also really want Hayden to understand the true meaning of Christmas so I bought him a book about Joseph and Mary and baby Jesus being born. We read it every night and he really loves it, but he said to me the other day, "mommy so it's Jesus' birthday?" I said yes. He said "can we have a big birthday party?" hahah he is so funny!

SO cute! Growing up, we went to see Santa at the mall every year. My mom put our pictures in a photo album and it is the best to see how we changed over the years. We still love looking at it. Your boys are so darling.
