A Salon Makeover :)
When we moved to Pittsburgh I had 2 requirements when looking for a home....off street parking and a decent basement!! Coming from Utah I would have thought that would be no big deal but Pittsburgh is not Utah :) It is very common to walk into a nice house and the basement is gross! They typically don't finish basements because of the humidity here! When we found our house I was really excited because the basement was actually decent..Brett had all these plans on how to make my salon nice with tile and paint ect. but I thought it was fine and figured I'd only be doing hair every once in a while. Well since I do hair pretty much every day I decided that it would be good to do something to spruce it up a bit! I'm so lucky to be married to a handy man, this job would have cost a fortune if we paid someone to do it

Hooray! It's finally finished! You couldn't have done it without my help the other night. haha. I will have to come see the final product soon!
It looks nice. So where did Brett learn to tile? I told Adam the goal is to have a salon room once we're going to be in a house for a while.
