Just a quick update... A while back I wrote about getting ready to train for the Wasatch Back run coming up in June. Well :) I started training and within a week or so started to have pretty bad back pain. (I had a back injury about 6 years ago) I ran through the pain for about a month and it got to the point that I could run, but the minute I was done I could barley walk. My pain was constant even when I wasn't running and it became unbearable. I reluctantly made an appointment with a Physical Therapist knowing that he would most likely tell me that I couldn't run this race. Yep and that is exactally what he said.
LAME!!! I was really upset about it and decided that I was going to do it anyway...got a second opinion, and she was more optimistic. She said I needed to take it easy for a week and if I was still hurting really bad that I really shouldn't run. My ribs are twisted, my hips are way out of alignment, and on and on. Well here I am 4 weeks later and still have major pain. I go to the PT every week and my pain has significantly decreased since I've stopped running but I still have pain. BLAH! So I found a replacement, (only cried about it for a day) and will be there with my bells and whistles on at the finish line to greet my team. I'm more than disappointed but
am so proud of my sisters for doing this!
Anyway :) The weather has taken a turn for the better (but HUMID). It has been so much fun being outside in the sun. I will take the hot humid summer over that RETCHED winter any day. Hayden is loving it as well. We got out our pool and have been in it every moment possible since.

We're heading home in 2 weeks and CAN'T WAIT

So how did you get a twisted rib? That's something I've never heard of. It sucks that you can't run with your sisters, but hopefully some day right? Your yard is looking better and better! It's probably so fun for Hayden to get outside and swim and play a bunch. We are trying to figure activities that spark both boys interests and got rid of a tiny pool we had in AZ before we moved out here. That's a good idea though.
Your pictures are looking great too. The texture is something that adds a lot to it. I've heard photo shop can be a huge pain in the butt but it also seems so worth it.
