So remember how I got an awesome camera (Canon Rebel T1i)? Well I've been trying to figure it out. I have always been fascinated with Photography and when Hayden was born I decided that I wanted to be able to learn how to take good pictures to document his life and our future kids to come. Well...photography is super hard for me. I really thought I would pick it right up and be good at it considering I'm relatively creative and have a good eye...HA nope. I got my camera about 6 months ago and still have so much to learn. I still wouldn't consider myself "good" but I'm learning so much and am really loving doing it. Finally (as I choke back the tears) here is a picture of my beautiful friend Libby! (Her husband just finished Dental School so they are moving away soon) She has taken me under her wing to help me get started with photography. She has spent countless hours answering my questions, letting me observe her, helping me learn how to use my camera, teaching me about lighting (which is a lot harder than you think people), and inspiring me to look at everything to find its beauty. We've become good friends and am so going to miss her.

I LOVE this picture and look at it often! I love how happy and chubby Hayden was and I think my husband is so handsome. When I proposed the idea of getting into photography Brett was so supportive and excited for me. I love that about him so much. He believes in me far more than I could ever believe in myself.
